Rent Start is a Basildon Council private sector incentive scheme. It has been set up to help private landlords and agents find suitable tenants to rent rooms in shared houses, bedsits, studio flats and self-contained one bedroom flats or houses.
Rent Start is aimed at landlords with rooms to rent on assured shorthold tenancies within the borough and its surrounding areas.
